Creating a Shopping Cart

The RIA Online Store uses a Shopping Cart for ordering products. To add an item to your Shopping Cart, click the Add to Cart link for that product. The Add to Cart link is located to the right of a products' title and price on a Result List and under the Quantity box on the product description page. Your Shopping Cart will then display, showing the title, price, and quantity of the product(s) you selected.

Changing the Quantity

If you wish to increase or decrease the quantity, simply change the quantity in the box, and then click the Recalculate Quantity button. To remove an item, click the Remove Item button to the right of each item listing.

Continuing Shopping

If you wish to continue shopping, click the Continue Shopping button on the Shopping Cart page. This will return you to the Product Store Search page. From the Product Store Search page you may continue searching, browsing and shopping until you are ready to checkout.

Checking Out

To checkout, click the Proceed w/Checkout button from the Shopping Cart page, or click the Shopping Cart button on the top menu bar from any page on the site to return to the Shopping Cart, then click the Proceed w/Checkout button.

Filling in the Order Form

All required fields are marked by an asterisk (*) on the order form. Fill out the Checkout - Ship & Bill To Information page with the appropriate shipping and payment information. To bill to a different address than the your shipping to address, uncheck the Billing address is the same as shipping address checkbox then fill in both the Ship To and Bill To Information. If you are purchasing by credit card, the Bill to Information must match the name and the billing address associated with the credit card. A phone number is required for delivery, so please enter a phone number where the carrier can reach you to complete shipping. Click the Submit button to continue.

For security reasons, any credit information you enter will be deleted if you leave the credit information page and return to the catalog. Select a shipping method

Click on the preferred shipment method, then click the Continue button to continue Checkout. The default shipment method for U.S. and Canadian orders is UPS Ground. To view shipment rates, click on Look For Shipping Rates link under the shipping method selection list. See Shipping Policies for information.

Filling in the Payment Information Page

If you need to change your billing information click on the "CLICK HERE" link at the end of the "If this is not your billing to address please CLICK HERE" sentence. Edit the necessary information and click the Submit button to save your changes and go back to the Payment Information page. Fill out the payment information with the appropriate billing information. Note: Even if you provided a current account number in the field above, you will need to provide credit card information in order to complete your purchase. All purchases will be billed to this card. After you complete the Checkout - Payment Information page click on the Purchase Now button to continue.

Updating the Order Form

After you complete the Checkout - Payment Information page, you will be brought to the Purchase Summary page. If you need to change any of the information on this page, click on [EDIT] under corresponding information to update billing, shipping or credit card information.

Submitting an Order

Once you have verified all the information on the Purchase Summary page click on the "CLICK HERE" prefixed with "Your order is not complete until you" at the top or the bottom of the page to submit your order. You will immediately receive a Purchase Receipt page, which includes all the information displayed on the Purchase Summary page as well as a tracking number. A confirmation e-mail will be sent to you at the same time. You should print and save the receipt for your record.

Shipping Policies

Orders received after 1pm EST will be processed the next business day. Shipment is based on product availability. Weekend delivery is not available. Delivery is scheduled after processing is complete.

Delivery of U.S. and Canadian orders will occur:

  • Within 1-6 days for UPS Ground
  • Within 2-3 days for 1st Class/Priority Mail
  • Within 2 days for 2nd day air

*Shipping dates begin after order is processed, not from when the order is intitially placed.

Delivery of International orders will occur:

  • Within 7-10 days for International Air

If you order multiple items and one or more of those items is not available for immediate shipment we will ship the available items and ship other items as they become available.

Taxes and Shipping Charges

RIA maintains a sufficient business presence in all U.S. jurisdictions so that taxes are charged on all orders delivered within the U.S. Applicable taxes will be modified to the total purchase price when the order is processed at RIA for all orders shipped to U.S. addresses. Applicable shipping charges will also be modified to the total purchase price when the order is processed.

There will be no sales tax or VAT added to orders if the shipping address is outside the U.S. However, if you are shipping to a freight forwarder inside the U.S., applicable sales tax will apply.

Security and Privacy

Our service only accepts information transmitted from secure browsers. These browsers encrypt the information they send using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL).

Despite worries about the risks of sending payment information over the Internet, statistically it's much safer to use your credit card on the Web than to use it in a restaurant or department store. We take every possible precaution to protect the integrity of your credit card information and we believe this is a safe, convenient way for you to make purchases.

We collect only the information necessary for authentication and billing purposes. When you order, we need to know your name, e-mail address, delivery address, credit card number and expiration date, or RIA account number. This allows us to process and fulfill your order and to notify you of your order status. RIA uses the information you provide about yourself when placing an order only to complete that order. RIA does not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others.

All customer information and payment information is stored in a secure database on a computer that is not connected to the Internet.
